The objective of this article is the study of the limits and possibilities of the celebration of the compromise allowed by the article 26 of LINDB and the article 10 of the Decree 9.830/2019. It allows a new legal framework of administrative settlements, creating many interpretative challenges to the doctrine, for example witch acts might be settled, the legitimation, the procedure and the reasoning demands and its relation with the doctrine of administrative precedents.
